        Select Aquatics Presents: X. doadrioi
                      and Swordtail length

This video looks at the care, temperment and behavior of the Xenotoca doadrioi, a very
beautiful, easy to keep Goodeid.  Questions beautiful, easy to keep Goodeid.
Questions discussed in this video include goodeid temperature preferences and
swordtail comparisons between the Xiphophorus species maintained here..

The Xenotoca doadrioi is a hardy, beautiful, distinctively shaped goodeid that can tolerate
a range of temperatures, though it does best in the lower 70s. Fairly prolific, their numbers
will increase even though they are prone to eating their fry, but they will do best when the
female is removed to a separate tank, and the fry are raised separately.
Best kept in a colony tank, they are well behaved with one another.
